After our fun filled Christmas we packed up for some time away from everything for more relaxing, family time, and a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Rushton. We rented a cute little house in New Harmony, UT just south of Cedar City, near Zion's. The boys each got to bring a couple of toys and a board game. We spent hours every day playing Connect 4, card games, and just enjoying being together. As we drove down I started to get a little nervous about the trip and weather it would be fun for the kids. I had nothing to worry about.
We went bowling, which is always a blast.
When Grandma and Grandpa arrived the boys kept them busy with air hockey and more games.
Brett and Grandpa played in the snow with them and pulled them around like horses.
The vacation landed on our anniversary and it was one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. We drove to St. George and Brett and I got to do a session at the temple. That night Grandma and Grandpa watched the kids so Brett and I could hit a double feature at the theatre. The Hobbit 3D started at 6:30, which was a 3 hour movie. Les Miserables started at 9:30, and was just under 3 hours. It was a lot of sitting, but great to see two amazing movies together with free babysitters:)
On Sunday we drove through Zion's to see all the great scenery and stopped for a few little walks with the boys. They found a lot of deer and Hyrum decided he wanted to be a park ranger so all the deer could be his pets.
It was great spending time all together, away from responsibility, and a dirty house.

That's great you got to see your parents, and that you could have a nice anniversary celebration!
