Halloween!

Halloween has been really fun this year.  We had a ward Trunk or Treat, Brett had a little Halloween work party, and of course the day of Halloween is filled with school parties, the school Halloween parade, and trick or treating.  

Here are Owen (Hulk Smash), Noah (Captain America), and his two friends on our street.  They've been playing superheros together all week:)  

The ward Trunk-or-Treat was so fun.  The kids got to play a bunch of fun games.  Here Noah competes in a doughnut  eating competition, and below Hyrum is getting wrapped like a mummy.

This happened a few weeks ago, but I had to add it in this post because the boys are all wearing their costumes.  It's amazing how often a regular night can turn into a wrestling match:)

I had so much fun dressing up to be a witch this year.  I wish I could play dress up more often. I got to volunteer in Noah's class to be in charge of a Halloween craft for the class.   I love how excited Noah was to have me there.  I'll cherish these moments while he is young and wants me around all the time.  I love my sweet boys.

I caught this moment and was filled with joy.  Hyrum was helping Owen play a game on the computer.  No one told him to help, he initiated this and I was so proud of him.  

Pumpkin Patch

I absolutely love the Fall in Utah!  It is incredibly beautiful every night as the sun sets.  There is so much color and beauty everywhere.  Yesterday and today we have been enjoying Fall break.  I haven't taken many pictures, but we've played at Ikea (which is almost like Chuck-e-Cheese for the kids in level of fun), toured a candy factory (which was an awesome hit), and spent a lot of time playing outside with friends.  Tonight we went to a pumpkin patch to prep ourselves for Halloween season.  The boys loved being able to pick their own pumpkins and then go through a corn maze to find hidden candy.  It was a fun night.

I just had to take this picture of Owens feet, because this little boy looses his shoes EVERYWHERE!  I have to track his shoes down everyday, because he looses them in the house, in the yard, at Joyschool, at friends houses. . . you get the idea.   He managed to go through this candy corn maze and comeback with only one shoe.  It didn't even seem to phase him that anything was wrong.  It took us a few minutes, but we found it.
