"My oldest wanted to play more video games after his slotted time aloud to play on Saturday. We said no and referenced the term 'frying his brain'. He has been baffled by the expression all day and asking all kinds of questions. "If my brain fries will I start to get all sweaty? Will my head be all hot? How does it happen? "It's amazing to me that someone so little and so cute can manage to destroy everything in his path. Yesterday: food dumped out on floor twice, oatmeal rubbed all over floor, a climb onto counter results in a broken bowl. Today has just begun and he's already dumped pretzels out in my bedroom and made a beautiful toothpaste masterpiece on some clean laundry and my carpet. Lets hope this stage goes by quickly. Yikes!"

"7 loads of laundry that had to be bleached, 4 very messy blowouts from my toddler, vomit in the car from my 4 year old, and then in his bed just now, diarrhea cleanup extravaganza, 1 load of dishes done, all laundry folded and put away, and I vacuumed the basement. Hubby just texted to say he's on his way home from working late tonight. I think we both put in a very full day:). Strangely enough, after singing my little guy to sleep after throwing up, I was filled with so much gratitude to be a mother. I wouldn't trade this job for the world! I love the days where i feel like superwoman. I am so grateful for Brett Partridge who works very hard and has been very blessed with a job that makes it possible for me to be home full time. I will now lay my exhausted and hugely pregnant body down to sleep. It's a good night."

"I just woke up from a little nap in the hospital and I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and love. I have 4 incredible little boys that make me so happy. I have an amazing husband who can take care of me when I can't take care if myself. I have great friends and neighbors who have been more than willing to drop everything to help me out. My mom has been an amazing help holding down the fort. The hospital and doctors that have worked with me are so knowledgeable and wonderful. I just feel surrounded and I am very grateful. :)"

"This morning I had bathed the baby, all four boys were Sunday dressed, eaten snacks, and were pretty much ready to go to church. I had my makeup on and gotten ready to attend the first hour debuting the baby for the first time at church:). I was feeling pretty good about the day. Then he needs to nurse right when it was time to go and my almost 2 year old fell asleep while I fed baby. SO half the family made it to church.
