Baptism Day

About a year ago we talked to Hyrum about preparing to be baptized.  We really wanted this to be his choice and to make an informed decision.  We set a goal of reading the Book of Mormon to better understand the gospel and we had several disscussions with him about the doctrines of the gospel.  He asked many thought provoking questions throughout the year, and also showed us his understanding.  We were very proud of him when he told us he wanted to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  His baptism day was very special.  We had both sets of grandparents here and Ryan and Jennifer's family.  It was a fun day with cousins, but we also built in time for Hyrum to ponder and journal as well.  We couldn't be happier.

Hyrum is such a good example to his brothers.
 Partridge and Rushton Grandparents.

Aunt Jennifer made these super cute tie and eight cookies!
Hyrum was so happy all day.  He said he could feel the Holy Ghost.
