Lightroom
Ok, I’m really not good at Photoshop and not great at Lightroom either, but I’ve been LOVING playing with all the fun things on Lightroom. If you are wondering what Lightroom does here are a few examples. You can do a lot more with it, but I just slightly enhanced the pictures.

Monticello and Moab
Next year we are having a Rushton reunion in Monticello, Utah so my parents wanted to scout out the area. I met up with them and my sister + kids. Brett was on a business trip all week so it was a great reprieve and fun to be with the fam.
We took a tour at the cabins we’ll be staying at. There was a ginormous dog that the boys named ‘Bear Dog’. Noah loved him and pretended to ride him. The cousins had fun exploring. I’m excited for the reunion next year, it’s going to be so fun!
Owen is such a happy baby. He was Grandpa’s little buddy. One of my favorite memories growing up was our occasional trips to A&W to get a rootbeer float. To this day I have fond taste memories of this yummy treat. In my mind all other root beer is an abomination. These five little cousins (ok two of them didn’t have any) got to enjoy the beauty of the float!
After enjoying some floats we ran into some bikers and they were really nice. Two of them picked Hyrum and Noah up and let them sit on their Harleys. It was pretty cool and the boys felt like rock stars!
We had fun hiking and exploring Moab. The boys had fun. Owen got his own personal ride up the stairs.

Doors
We’ve had quite the experience with our semi-remodeling of our kitchen. Along the process we’ve gathered quite a few extra cupboard doors, so in an attempt to be resourceful and ‘green’ we’ve up- cycled a few of them into toys for the boys. One of the doors I spray painted yellow and used chalkboard paint on the interior for a fun chalkboard. The boys have had a lot of fun drawing on it at the table. Hyrum drew this cute picture for me of a big Mommy cat and her baby cat. He told me it said ‘I love Mom’. Even though he didn’t write the sentence in order, it still was a great present.
With another door we purchased Lego sheets and filled the interior of the door with them so the boys have a huge Lego board to build things on. We still have a lot more doors, do you want one?
